The Journal of William Thomas Emerson

For my colonial book I read The Journal of William Thomas Emerson. It helped me really understand what this whole Revolutionary Was was all about. It was from the point of view of a 12 year old boy who lives in Boston, Massachusetts. He lives with Mrs. Thompson, the owner of the tavern. He works for her and she gives him room and board. It is a fiction story and I liked it that way because it is interesting and not just facts about the Revolutionary War. A lot of things happen with the Revolutionary War and it was a really good book. I highly recommend this book! :D
